Some weddings just have a certain magic about them, and Isabella and Ben's Valentine's Day celebration at The Joey, Palm Beach was one of them.
Set against the sparkling waters of Pittwater, the day delivered everything you could hope for from a Palm Beach wedding — beautiful weather, breathtaking views and a relaxed elegance that perfectly reflected the couple.
Working closely with Isabella, we developed a floral palette that felt romantic, sophisticated and a little unexpected. Rich burgundy tones became the foundation of the design, layered with beautiful speckled hydrangeas and seasonal blooms to create depth, texture and movement throughout the celebration.
The florals were designed to complement the natural beauty of the waterfront setting rather than compete with it. Softly abundant arrangements brought warmth and atmosphere to the space, while the deeper colour palette created a striking contrast against the blue water and summer light of Pittwater.
The Joey provided the perfect backdrop for the occasion. Perched above the water in Palm Beach, the venue's relaxed coastal charm paired beautifully with the moodier floral tones, creating a setting that felt both contemporary and timeless.
One of our favourite details was seeing how effortlessly the florals carried through every element of the day — from the personal flowers to the reception styling — creating a cohesive and memorable experience for Isabella, Ben and their guests.
