Set on one of the hottest summer days imaginable, guests gathered beneath clear skies overlooking Pittwater as this effortlessly stylish couple celebrated with family and friends. Despite the heat, the atmosphere felt relaxed, elegant and completely reflective of the pair themselves.
The floral design embraced a soft yet textural palette, combining sculptural hydrangeas, garden roses and clouds of smoky burgundy smoke bush. The result was romantic and contemporary, with an organic quality that felt perfectly suited to the coastal surroundings of Palm Beach.
One of our favourite elements of the day was the ceremony installation. Designed to frame the couple against the natural backdrop of Palm Beach Reserve, the florals created impact while still allowing the beauty of the landscape to shine. Layers of hydrangeas, roses and smoke bush provided movement, depth and a sense of abundance without feeling overly formal.
As guests moved into the reception, the ceremony flowers were thoughtfully repurposed throughout the space, allowing the floral story to continue into the evening. Not only did this maximise the floral investment, but it also created a seamless visual connection between the ceremony and reception.
The reception styling featured fresh citrus accents woven through the tablescape. Combined with lush florals and warm summer light, the result felt sophisticated, relaxed and distinctly Palm Beach.
Dunes Palm Beach continues to be one of our favourite Northern Beaches wedding venues, offering an incredible European style setting and the perfect canvas for both understated and statement floral designs.
