The Flower Drum is a Sydney-based floral, styling and creative studio founded by Holly Hipwell.

For more than 15 years, Holly has been creating memorable experiences for brands, venues and private clients through flowers, styling and atmosphere. Known for a generously abundant aesthetic that feels both refined and effortless, her work balances beauty, emotion and thoughtful attention to detail.

What began as a floral studio has evolved into a creative practice that extends beyond flowers alone. Today, The Flower Drum partners with brands, agencies and individuals to concept, design and deliver immersive events, brand activations, photoshoots and weddings that feel personal, impactful and distinctly memorable.

Holly's approach is rooted in the belief that the most successful events are about more than how they look — they're about how they make people feel. Every project is considered through the lens of colour, texture, scale, movement and atmosphere, with florals thoughtfully layered alongside furniture, lighting, linens and objects to create spaces that feel cohesive and alive.

The Flower Drum has collaborated with international brands including Jean Paul Gaultier and Volkswagen, alongside leading Australian companies such as Westpac and Lendlease, as well as a diverse portfolio of private clients. The studio is also a preferred supplier to some of Sydney's most iconic venues, including the Sydney Opera House.

Based on Sydney's Northern Beaches and working Australia-wide, Holly and her team create weddings, corporate events, brand experiences and editorial projects that leave a lasting impression.
